Rose sprains his ankle so it's back to Tyus starting and better chance of winning. Now if Tyus could go down til Thibs is fired it would indeed be a great new year.

Derek Rose without question has been a positive difference maker for this team. Just as long as you keep him reigned in a bit and keep the hero ball out of it he's terrific. When we acquired him I thought he was washed up. I don't think he's ever been a better team member. Now that he doesn't have to go all out and carry a team, he might stay healthy. Of course...Rose get injured again and is doubtful for the next game. Rose has certainly made his mark this year. I wonder how it would have played out if Rose hadn't dramatically increased his 3 pt shooting? Rose shooting 30% from 3 is a much different scenario. Regardless, Rose has played well. It's just too bad that Thibs overplays him. Even without Teague, we've got enough depth to limit Rose's minutes. Keeping him at 25 min or so should minimize the wear and tear of a long season. Thibs gonna Thibs though.

Anyone notice Wiggins on his free throws stands right foot at 12:00pm with left foot behind at 7:00pm. No knee bend to speak of and a flat shot? I would rather see him square up, shoot with a higher arc and get his knees bent and legs into the shot.
Don't they have coaches to help him with that?

Was out of town for a week, and only saw the Hawks game.
Ridiculous.
3 Wolves played 40+ minutes. Multiple guys played entire quarters. Thibs is going to have this team totally burned out by the break.
I would move Wiggins for anything that doesn't cause us future damage. Anything.
Rose is among the worst defensive players I've ever seen. His scoring does not compensate for it. Not even close. He gives up wide-open 3s, he gives up uncontested drives to the rim. Not only can't he stay in front of his man when they have the ball, but he ALWAYS loses his man when he's off the ball. You can literally see him out there trying to figure out who he's supposed to guard on most possessions. Its not just the points that his man scores, its that he single-handedly forces the other 4 Wolves to scramble to make up for his mistakes letting every Wolf's man score easily.
We can't get the stink of Chicago off this team fast enough.

We just don't have the talent to win games when we play like this. In order for us to win we have to play with great effort from start to finish. We can't coast.
Aside from Towns we have a bunch of role players. Guys who are borderline starters/bench players. A good team can get by with 1 or 2 of those kind of guys playing major minutes (especially if they embrace their role) but when you put 4 of them out of there together - its going to be tough to win consistently.
