I'm interested to see if Wiggins will show up to play tonight, or just be a spectator from the floor. He's going to have a tough matchup against DeRozan. I wouldn't be surprised to see Wigs switch over to guard Rudy Gay with RoCo guarding DeRozan.

It either significantly changed or you read it backwards.

It either significantly changed or you read it backwards. They originally had Minnesota at -4.5 which I read they were projected to loss by that much. Not into the gambling thing so I could have read that wrong.

Not into the gambling thing so I could have read that wrong. Ah, I see where your problem was. A minus in betting actually means the favorite. Its like a handicap to normalize betting. If bets were just straight wins and losses people would make a killing only betting on huge favorites. The point spread makes all the difference in the world. Wolves (-4.5) are the 4.5-point favorite which means they would need to win the game by five points or more to win the bet. Conversely, the Spurs (+4.5) are a 4.5-point underdog which means they would need to win or not lose the game by more than four points to win the bet.

I love RoCo. He makes the game infinitely more watchable.

Covington's defense is contageous. This is a different looking Wolves team in a very good way.
Wolves ball is getting fun to watch again.
It's time to take off the bag Levine.:)

John Meyer@thedailywolf RoCo might *ALREADY* be a top 5 all-time Wolves communicator on the court. He's constantly screaming out coverages, yelling at guys to get back, pointing out where to be, and fixing things on the fly.
brittrobson@brittrobson Wolves gave up 9 pts w/7:12 of Covington. Gave up 16 in 4:48 rest of quarter

At some point you would think RoCo is going to play worse but so many things that he brings, that this team needs, hustle, communication, quarterbacking the defense, and just stepping into 3's even if he's not hitting will always be there. Tough to say there was a better fit in the trade market for us. Hopefully this isn't just the honeymoon.

Why have the starters in right now? We should try giving the 2s some extended run while we 30-ball the Spurs. I know it's only the 3rd quarter but why not let the guys get in and potentially build up confidence. By putting them in now we can go deep into the bench to get the regulars some much needed rest. There is just no reason in my mind to burn the starters in a game like this.

Obviously KAT is our best player but Cov is the MVP.
Rose might be playing the best overall basketball of his life.
His 3 pt shooting is getting beyond luck. I'm not sayin he can keep up this ridiculous pace but his summer practice has more than paid off.
Wigs played video games this summer.
