How typical of Rose. Drives and goes nowhere and throws the ball to an imaginary player in the lane. Turnover.

And our 2nd unit craps the bed and we are down by almost double digits.

Towns is playing like garbage. He is barely even playing out there. He has been absent rebounding, is always the last over the half court line on offense. He is just going through the motions. He is hardly even paying attention out there.

Towns has to pick it up big time. Not much ball movement tonight. Don't know why. No fast break points either. Celts solid D but you should be able to run some. Too many missed shots.

We look tired, I don't see any energy.

You would think when Rose is not doing anything Thibs might just try something different like putting in Okogie but nope.

Hate to say it but the dude can't hit the broad side of a barn lately, it's like Ricky Rubio all over again only without the crafty passing. If we're determined to start Wiggins and Teague, somebody has to move aside if they're not pulling weight. Having Rose-Okogie-Gorgui-Saric off the bench is much more difficult for an opposing team to contain

Perfect game to play one of your best defensive players (Okobie). You know, like how the Celtics play Marcus Smart..

Jeff Teague almost single handed lost that game for us in the 4th. His dribbling the ball aimlessly and then turning it over can't continue.
What happened to sharing the ball tonight? Apparently not the game plan tonight.

Towns though ultimately lost the game with some stupid plays. He pushed a player in the back on a rebound getting the foul. The next offensive play he cannot catch a pass and turns the ball over. It was at a critical time in the game. And yes, Okogie would have been nice in this game. Jones was doing nothing on the court.

Look at all the imperceptible traveling calls too. Eliminate calling those. There is no player advantage gained. The game will be better off especially when giving a guy 3 steps for a layup. Call obvious travels for sure. Let the players play.

Boston is a good team. Too many mistakes to beat them last night. Rose almost willed them into a win, but it wasn't enough last night. Poor execution and poor shooting overall was their downfall. They'll have to play better tomorrow if they hope to beat the Rockets.

It was a frustrating game to watch. No ball movement, too many turnovers, poor shot selection, slow rotations to three-point shooters, and too many missed free throws. They had a shot but could make a shot or not defend when it mattered.
