It'd be nice to get him on a horse somehow.
The most practical obviously would be Micah to tie a cell phone or ipad to his chest so Finch can face time everyone. Like that movie Her where Joaquin Phoenix falls in love with his iphone and presumably makes love to it.
Just spit balling ideas here.

Perhaps he could use those aerial silk ribbons Pink uses in concerts to float above the game like a human angel. Finch will be there no matter how much it hurts. He'll be shouting commands to Micah and be in the heat of the battle. I can't wait to see the chair or whatever they will have him in. I'm not so sure. The leg has to be perfectly straight after surgery, so even if he's in a chair, where is the room for him? He can't be directly on the sideline because he'd be in constant danger of getting hit. And there likely isn't room in the 2nd row. My guess is he's watching in the locker room with an open line to Nori.

This is much more violent than locking him in a supply closet, but whatever it takes to beat Denver.

Let's not forget that Finch is going to require pain meds though and it's not like those sharpen the senses. He may not be in a state to offer great basketball insights. I guess the good thing about a Nuggets matchup is that they really don't have a ton of flexibility to play different ways. Their personnel is a little more rigid with their 5 starters being so set. Maybe they use Peyton Watson on Ant with Gordon? Not a lot of shooting for that lineup though.

Yeah, when I read it was a patellar tendon rupture, I knew it would require the leg to be immobile in a straight position. I think it's got to be that way for at least 6 weeks.

I'd make room for him in a hospital bed if I had to. :) That would be quit the look.

Happy ownership mediation day to all who celebrate! Ha! Was there ever any reporting on whether it would just be lawyers or will Glen and LoRod actually be in the room?

I was thinking it's the 2nd, but pretty sure they would be in separate rooms, but in a perfect world it'd be televised, and they'd be sitting on one of those long L shaped couches until it's resolved.
It's hard to know what mediation even means here, are they starting from the position that it's still Glen's team? What would the two parties be trying to come to here?
I was looking at arbitration though, and even that seems zippo, don't see how this would take more than 15 minutes. I don't think "Discovery" really means much here, because again, it's did they meet the deadline to ownership, or no? Seems like it should be resolved by Finals, but perhaps some of the money stuff goes on a while. I just hope Glen and Becky have a nice time.
According to American Bar Association research, arbitration cases typically take about seven months to resolve, while litigation can take 23–30 months. Arbitration is a faster, cheaper, and less complex process than litigation, often resolving disputes more quickly than court cases. The average arbitration hearing discovery process lasts about two months, and then the hearing phase takes one or two weeks.

I think there is zero chance that they agree in mediation. No way it doesnt go to arbitration. I believe that mediation means that they have to come to some sort of agreement, which if both side thinks they are right....why would they agree to anything other than winning everything they want? I'm curious how, if the Wolves somehow won it all, Glen could actually keep Lo-Rod out of the ceremony because the only reason they would be there is because of the changes Lo-Rod made.

Mediation might be a step toward a compromise. They get to see the strength of each others hands. I still think it’s possible Glen wants to drive a better price so maybe A/ Lore ends up with controlling stake but Glen has higher stake than originally planned and gets to pretend he’s a co-owner.

I believe Glen has said that his money is going to a trust/charity anyway so the money part was more for his limited partners. I'm sure you're right that money does play a big role in this, but I don't think it's as important as Glen just not wanting to step away when the team is actually winning. I could easily be off, but it just seems Glen got reminded of an old toy he forgot about because the younger brother started playing with it. He's seeing his old toy with fresh perspective. Look how much fun the younger brother makes it look and now Glen is saying he wants it back because it's his in the first place.

Doogie reporting on X that "...mediation solved nothing. Arbitration is next." Sounds like arbitration is weeks away.

I have a hard time believing Lo/Rod's law firm Wachtell Lipton didn't have their bases covered in letting Glen do this. Wachtell is a super hi-test NY firm.
I'd be very surprised they lose this fight.

I'd be very surprised they lose this fight. I agree. We've heard so many things from Glen's side on why he's doing this. They missed deadlines. The payroll projection stuff. The team is good now. The team is worth more. I think everyone agrees that this is going to come down to the contract so if Glen had the contract on his side, why mention all the rest? I'd just say, "they didn't fulfill the contract" and that's it. I will also say that this situation is so emblematic of Glen's tenure as owner. Just such a poor understanding of what makes a good basketball team. Glen wants to stay in charge now because the team is good, but he agreed to sell in 2021 when a smart owner would have realized that Ant was going to be good and the team would follow. He didn't see it like so many times in the past.

It's sad people will remember Glen for this snake move. Even if he wins I see it clearly, he's a snake. I feel bad about that......but I shouldn't!

I thought it was sad that prior to this Glen didnt get enough credit for the work he did to keep the team here. That he could have sold it for more but chose to sell it for less to someone who promised to keep it local. Now, through his own fault and greed, he's completely erased that good feeling. So its not sad....its justice. You are what your actions say you are. You cant change facts and apparently you can only hide all out greed for so long.
