I know for a while baseball had home field in the World Series determined by what league won the ASG. Not sure if that's fair, but it was a way to make it competitive for sure. They'd have to completely remove the fan vote to even consider it. Otherwise you have the most popular (not the best) players determining a really, really important thing half-way through the season. Plus by the time you get to the final two teams, you'll be lucky to have 3-4 players that were even involved with determining Home Court. It'll never be more than an exhibition game, it can't have Championship ramifications.

Make the all star game worth a half a win for the winning conference. The only way it ever comes into play is for home court advantage in the finals if the 2 teams meeting had the exact same regular season record. A three way competition between USA, Europe, The rest of the world with some money on the table would make it watchable! BTW, my money would be on Team Europe!

I think it makes sense for the in season tournament as players are playing with their own teams, but for an all-star game I would be opposed as I don't want something out of my team's control to impact their ability to win a title.

I think I'd like to watch a 1 on 1 competition with a bracket, march madness style. I'd think they'd get up more for that with pride (and memes) on the line.

The skills competition is worthless as it is but maybe they could find a way to make it better like hitting a moving target while on the run for passing- kind of like how they do the quarterback skills. For dunks they should make it 2 tries and take the best. Plus have the judges be former dunk competitors. For the game they should change the rules a bit with longer 3 point distances and wider lanes. They can put sensors in the shoes that go off when you hit 3 seconds in the lane.

www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/39586633/nba-story-clippers-new-uniforms-logosSuper fun read from Zach Lowe on the Clippers rebrand. Talked everything from potentially changing the name, to new jerseys, new arena, etc. Steve Ballmer rocks. Clips killed it with the new logo and jerseys. Would love for Lo-Rod to undergo a rebrand this summer if nothing else for getting rid of the ugly frickin sailor uniforms.

As other leagues have done, you need to change things up with the all-star/pro/etc. games. Sure, they have the 3 point and dunk competition but couldn't they do something more interesting? 3 on 3 half court? 3 on 3 tourney of the players? How about a game of horse? What can the stars actually do messing around? Maybe a 3 point plus contest? Not on the 3 point line but half-court, etc. See how far back players can actually go and make it? The actual game pretty much was that with the 3 point shooters as it was.

Mandatory participation! It would be entertaining as heck...

Have a mix of 3 NBA and 2 WNBA players per team and 3 WNBA and 2 NBA players. 4 team tournament. Winner takes 500k per player if the score is below 125 per team (defense required).

If no Morris, are the Wolves just gonna roll with Jackson?

My guess is MN still makes the most sense.
I would've said the Clippers, but they can't sign him.
Maybe the Knicks since he played really well in his brief stint. Or I guess Dallas if he wants to play with his brother again.

He’d be someone else to throw at Zion if they played the Pels.

He’d be someone else to throw at Zion if they played the Pels. To me, our main buyout goal should be getting someone who can potentially guard Zion in the event we get them for our first round matchup. We just dont match up with them well.

He would be a great fit here for us. Especially if SloMo is injured or his recent deal turns out to be a nagging injury.

We just dont match up with them well. 100% and that's why I'm kind of in on Morris as a buyout guy. I think his demeanor also would prop up Ant to be more of himself. The trash-talking, punch-you-in-the-mouth kind of player that Ant loves to be. Morris wouldn't play a ton in the playoffs, but he'd be a good option to go to when KAT, Rudy, and Naz all get into predictable foul trouble.

Wasn't the deadline March 1 for FAs to sign and be playoff eligible? Did Morris sign anywhere?
The Wolves signed T.J. Warren to a 10 day.
