Also, for those who missed where Michael Grady was, myself included, he was calling the Grizzlies-Mavs game on NBA TV. That dude is an absolute stud and I can't imagine he's with us too long before he gets a national gig.

We used to have one of the very best I've ever heard in Kevin Harlan. He's done pretty well for himself since leaving here. :)
BTW, Michael was another great front office decision.

BTW, Michael was another great front office decision. Yep. There was a lot of love for Dave Benz, but Grady is just a step above. We should enjoy him while we have him.

KAT was fantastic tonight. He had it going and I loved to see him just striping the 3s. 5-5. SHOOT SOME MORE!! That corner 3 to start the game was just great. Finch doesn't want to "park KAT in the corner" because he's too good, but I think that mindset is too extreme. Of course you wouldn't just have KAT sit in the corner the whole time, but having him spend more time there regularly would open up a lot of stuff. More please!

Ant having his worst game of the year and we’re up 30 at the half. It was not coincidental BTW that we had our best offensive output with Ant on the bench in that 2nd quarter. The ball moved. Ant is just an incredible ball stopper right now. I think it's all about Ant trying to get himself going but he gets carried away.
I don't think we'd say much if the ball went in. Then it would be ok for the ball to stick with him all day. :)
I must say that was some of the best team ball I've seen from a Wolves team and Towns showed just why he's so valuable.

I wonder what Sir Charles is saying about us today? If the Wolves want national media to pay attention to them they have the opportunity tonight. Go into Boston and beat the Celtics on their undefeated homecourt on the 2nd night of a B2B after weather limited their travel. I'm not expecting it, but it would be the statement win of the year. Otherwise, beating the Magic was a nice win. We played crisply on offense and suffocating D. The Magic were missing several key players though so we can't think we did something great or anything. Right on. I'm a little nervous about this one tonight. I pray we play defense to our ability and team basketball. I just hope the refs let them play.

I think that Finch is parroting what KAT is telling him. I dont think KAT wants to go to the corner. in general, KAT has not been as good at corner 3' as he is at the top of the key. My guess is KAT doesnt want to shoot them....AND thinks its a bit beneath his ability.

KAT hasn't been as good from the corners by %, but I suspect that's because he doesn't work on that area as much. As someone with great touch on what it is a fairly "set" shot, the shorter distance for KAT should be a higher % area.

They seem to be about where we were in the Pat Bev year. Just doing whatever it takes with a young team to scrap and claw to some wins. It's not a sustainable way of playing and I'd imagine Orlando needs a true rim protector to build a defense around. They have great young guys to build a solid defense around, but they just seem like they're a rim protector away.
