We should probably sit Ant.
It would give him 3 days off to rest his knee, instead of playing in back-to-backs tonight and tomorrow.

Rest Ant, go up 30, and then sit the starters. I don't know if even our bench could blow a lead to the Pistons, as bad as our deep bench is.
Would be a nice game to throw Shake out there and see if he can get in a rhythm.

A win is a win, but that wasn't pretty. Defense didn't play well.

A win is a win, but that wasn't pretty. Defense didn't play well. It seems like we dont turn on our defense until the 4th quarter sometimes. That game was much closer than anticipated. As others have said, it appeared we "played with our food" until the 4th quarter. But as you say, a win is a win. I also dont think Detroit is as bad as their record. I mean...the record is the record..so I guess they are. But they seem like a better team than that. Now if Towns would realize that he absolutely can continue to shoot more 3's....we'd be set.

Yeah, a blow out would have been nice, but all NBA games are tough, especially on the road. So I'm not too concerned about it. Just look at last year, when we lost half or more of these types of games. It takes veteran leadership to keep the team's intensity focused, and feels like Gobert and Conley are helping in this regard. Let's keep it rolling tonight!

Seems like they might play better without Cade. Turning over the offense to Ivey gave them a boost and freed him up. It’s always tough to prepare for a team that is in transition so wasn’t too concerned about the performance. The OKC game coming up after Memphis will be HUGE. A win would really set the wolves up well for the second half.
