I'll take it. We need every win we can get the top spot going into the break. Finch can coach the all star west team if we have the best record going in.

I hope no one bought tickets... I got tickets as part of my 5 game holiday pack I received as a Christmas gift. Well, I guess I'll really be able to catch up with the friend that's going with me as I won't have to pay attention to the game.
Hopefully the Wolves don't take this as lightly as Dallas is.

Glad I dont have that game. This stuff all sounds pretty legit. Doesnt sound like "rest". Exum, Jones, and Irving didn't play in their last game and Lively having a broken nose sure seem legit. Luka did play 43 min on Monday so I guess one could question that ankle designation, but it's probably like Conley's injury in that it's a legit thing, but something they probably could play with in a playoff game. I get it though with Luka as the Wolves are good at home and you're missing 4 big minute rotation guys. Why push through an injury for a game you're very likely to lose. It stinks for fans going like me, but it's just the way it is.

I went through the list in another thread of stars that have missed thier games in Minnesota, but now Luca (MVP candidate) played NEITHER game in Minnesota.

If Conley has any hamstring soreness he should sit out again since Mavs are waving the white flag on this one.
I'm curious why Finch doesn't just start JMac at PG to replace Conley and bring NAW off bench as part of his normal rotation. Not sure if this is best idea, but just throwing it out there.

My brother and I give each other tickets to a game for Christmas every year so I tried to go through and figure out which games the "stars" were going to play in. Came down to the Clippers game and this Mavs game.... really glad we picked the Clippers game! They all actually played! Feel like I won the lottery lol.

He clearly doesn't trust JMac.

A wins a win. Kind of a boring game. Not sure what was up with Ant but ... a wins a win.

Very nit-picky in the sense that Garza still played 7 minutes last night, but I'd love for us to jump out to a huge lead and bury these cellar dwellers at some point in the first half. Seems like we always start slow and then pull away in the late 3rd/early 4th. Would be nice to get a huge lead early and sustain, while giving our guys even more of an off night. Very nit-picky for a 34 point win lol.

A wins a win. Kind of a boring game. Not sure what was up with Ant but ... a wins a win. Agreed. What was up with Ant? I don't believe he took a shot in the 2nd quarter. I saw a couple things that were nice with KAT yesterday. He had that action where he started in the corner and then drove finding Rudy on the lob. It seemed like he made it a point to be in the corner initially. I hope to see more of that. That action is exactly what I've been saying about optionality from the corner. If you make it a point to find KAT there, he can do all the same stuff he does from the top of the key, but with the defense flattened to account for his 3 pt shooting. Just a few times more a game please! Also, that KAT/Rudy PnR where KAT came off and just launched a 3. That was nice. Naz has become a really nice shooter. Kudos on putting in the work. If he could just slow things down a little bit and relax on his forays into the lane I think it would help a lot. He makes quick decisions, but it feels like he's rushing just a little much of the time.

If the Wolves hit shots like they usually do, the lead would have been 10 plus much earlier.

I think the coach told him to get others involved. Well come to you IF we need to. It's a good thing we didn't.
Ant has played too much hero ball lately reading his press clippings. We had much better ball movement last night.
