No Morris yet.

Probably for the best with Morris. I'm guessing the Wolves will stay in Minneapolis for a couple of days before heading west to play LAC late Monday.
Wolves could have a couple of days to run things through with Morris. Might be good for the whole team to refresh on their core principles as they incorporate Morris.

No Middleton either.

I would say that improves our chances of winning, but we don't have the IQ to fight out of a paper bag during adversity.

This team is almost impossible to figure out. They played maybe their best game of the year tonight. Milwaukee was never really in it after the half.
Great ball movement. The bench scored 30. We went essentially 8 deep tonight. MC with 18 pts, 5 rebs and 9 ast. Rudy 16 and 10 with 4 ast.
Oddly enough I thought this was the best officiated game I've seen all year. They let the guys play on both sides. Basketball is a beautiful game with few whistles.

The team had a different set for this game (I don't recall the name but Levine described it as the Denver offense). 2 1 2 setup with the a big guy in the middle. Pass in, pass out, find the open man or driver. Very effective. Still hate Slo Mo on offense. Good Lord dude, learn to shot the ball.
I just hope the Wolves don't think this is them coming back to life. The Bucks are not that great a team and have some serious issues if they wish to do some damage if they make the playoffs.

Doc is 1-5 since taking over. Seems much better than what griffin was doing. But hey, he gets to coach in the all star game with a 17% winning percentage!

Firing Bud and trading J'rue for Dame is what happens when you cater to your superstar. That said, they may not have really had a choice on either...

They keep going to retreads when they should take a chance on a bright young but experienced, seasoned assistant..

Thank You David for that. Great post. I thought it was a great deal initially. This year we are getting the Rudy I thought we had last year.
It's easy to see the staff used him wrong last year. Most of us saw that. Thankfully Finch made the adjustments.

He was kinda exactly what you said there. What I don't think they realized is just how much he still had left to learn. They threw him in the deep end with a team that should be contenders in the East, with an established mega star in Giannis, another megastar in Lillard now coming in, and a healthy Khris Middleton. Not only did Griffin have to develop offensive and defensive systems for this newly renovated contender, but he also had to learn to manage their personalities. That's just an insanely high ask of a first-time head coach. I can see why they went to Doc. I think they'll be burned by it, but I understand why they did.

They are kind of having to do a "hail mary" at this point. They realize they messed up bringing in a first year coach. (Especially when you interviewed Doc and Nick Nurse before hiring Griffin.). The only thing that maybe Doc can do is hopefully he has enough of a cache to his resume where he can put Giannis in his place and stop him from making all the decisions for the franchise.

I think I read or heard that Giannis didn't want Nurse who apparently can be abrasive. Wonder what Nurse could have done with the Bucks roster.

I'd take nurse over finch right now, still not sold on him. I know we're good, but I still think we should be better.
