First home game since Naz was announced as 6MOY and Conley as teammate of the year. Rudy should be announced as DPOY tonight and KAT could win Social Justice Champion on Thursday.
The energy for the game should be amazing. Let's blow the doors of Target Center!

Might as well give McDaniels the "Kawhi Leonard award" for the quietest teammate, so that all starters get some sort of award or accolades... Ant is getting MVP chants in Denver, this must be better than actually winning the thing!

I just realized what a blessing in disguise it was the fact McDaniels broke his hand last year and missed the playoffs! Had MIN played like they did this year last year, there would have been no way he signed the contract he signed last summer with MIN... we could possibly be looking at having to replace him this summer...

Looks like $100k fine for Murray, no suspension.

Looks like $100k fine for Murray, no suspension. Unreal. NBA knows it's better TV to have Murray. Has to be why there's no suspension.

It's exactly as I said in the other thread: the NBA has a financial interest in extending this series. The league doesn't get as filthy stinking rich off of sweeps, and they got revenue on their mind

TBO Denver puts up a better fight without him.

He might’ve been trying to get suspended for the rest of the series…

Listened to the DNVR podcast and it sounds like Murray is a jerk to the media and staffers. Sounds about right.

Looks like $100k fine for Murray, no suspension. Unbelievabke. If a fan throws things on the court, that fan would be banned for life. If a player does it, it's a slap on the wrist.

I followed the Nuggs during their championship run last year - and gained a lot of respect for them… that all went away in Game 2.
Mike Malone is a smooth-brained whiner who can’t even get himself thrown out of a game.
Jamal Murray is a dirty, selfish child who has clearly bought into his own hype.
Nikola Jokic’s uninterested and unathletic shtick is exposed.
To me it’s not just about Denver needing to “own their space” and match physicality… For whatever reason, they are just not making good decisions fast enough in this series when the Wolves have been dialed in on defense.
Here’s to staying dialed in at home and making the NBA world question whether the Suns might actually be good… #russillotweet

I have really, really grown to love NAW during this season. In the same was that Naz nearly duplicates KAT's offense when he comes off the bench, NAW nearly duplicates McD's defense when he gets in the game. And they both have the confidence to immediately impact the game when they get a chance. And just like you can play KAT and Naz at the same time to really stress the opponents' defense, you can play McD & NAW together to really stress the other team's offense. They make for a great bench duo!

I really hope we can keep him after next year. It's going to be hard though. If Bruce Brown got $20+M a year, how can we afford him?

Sometimes guys take a little bit of time to blossom.
Compare him to Okogie. Great defense maybe better and a really good offensive game. What a great get!

22 years old... And look who else is in the Top 5. I can't express enough how proud I am of how KAT has played so far this series. It's no joke going against the champs but he played so well against Jokic for the most part in Rudy's absence. He's elevated us and has helped us pull away in a few of these games.

Starting 5 are all under contract for next year. Kyle and Jordan McL and Monte are free agents though. Prefer to get Monte back and let J'Mac move on.

Believe me when I say I'm eating my own words on that, I never thought he could be effective in the playoffs between foul calls, whining and just some cringey things he'd say. I like when I'm wrong with these sorts of things.

8:30pm tip tonight. My only concern is we don't take the game as seriously as we should. No time for over confidence and cockiness. If we can stay locked in defensively we just need average shooting percentages to carry us through. Come on bench don't let us down. I wonder what adjustments Denver throws at us?
The importance of tonight's game can't be over estimated.

Finch has got them right where he wants them. They don’t know if they’ll face defense from game 1 or game 2. Plus I think Finchy vs Malone is no contest.

Team is looking off so far. Defense and offense have no rhythm at this time. And anyone else getting moments of announcers audio cutting out?
