“I have a coach who is trusting me,” Bjelica told The Athletic after a 141-130 victory over the Timberwolves on Wednesday night. “He knows how to use me. Not just me, he knows how to use everybody on this team. We have a great atmosphere, great group of guys. It’s the NBA. Everything is about opportunity in this league.” Joerger has empowered Fox and it shows...they're playing better on offense and with more purpose. They're a fun group.

and Bates-Diop needs some playing time. He needs a lot more time in the G League. He's really struggling against (sub) NBA size and speed - and the farther 3pt line. He needs to show he can handle that level before we consider playing him against real pros. When guys like Tyus, Bazz and even MGH were down there, they dominated. Keita is mostly struggling. He's rebounding solidly, but he's not shooting well from anywhere, he can't get to the line and his "do shit" numbers are disappointing.

Everyone is improving drastically under Joerger. WCS is turning from a guy that was on the bubble to a legit 2-way piece of the puzzle. And Buddy is killing it on offense. 19 PPG on 48/43/83 shooting.

The bench last night was -48 combined (oof). Tyus was -16, Dieng -10 Teague was awful on offense outside of generating assists. We need new point guards. This. Teague might be my least favorite Timberwolf ever....and that is saying something as I watched the Mark Blount era. We really need a PG of the future. Teague doesn't fit this team at all. Tyus can't shoot and can't finish at the basket and while he is decent defender compared to Teague or Rose....it isn't like he's a lock down defender who deserves to be on the court due to his defense. DRose (on a vet minimum contract!) is our best PG at the moment - yet we're playing him at the off-guard and having to deal with 2's torching us up because we have a PG defending them.
