It's one thing to lose on the road.. It's another to constantly look like your team doesn't even belong in the NBA every time you're away from target center. This is coaching. This is practice, conditioning, wearing your guys out so bad when traveling itself is already exhausting and constantly trying to use the same failed schemes over and over and over again like a toddler pounding the wrong puzzle pieces together with an unwieldy hammer. There's no variation, there's no switching things up unless someone is injured, it's the literal definition of insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. The players are obviously not responding to him, all locker room credibility was destroyed when HIS main man Jimmy Butler ripped everything apart like a whirling dervish of destruction.. Wtf are you doing Glenn Taylor?? Stop being so ****ing stingy with your money and can the ****er that literally gets booed by your own home crowd EVERY SINGLE GAME. This is literal madness

When will we ever defend the 3 pt shot?
Come on Glen Taylor, give us all a Christmas present in a new coach. Quit walking east looking for a sunset. Wake the bleep up Glen!!

San Antonio played tonight the way we should play every game. Spaced the floor, moved the ball, shot the 3, rebounded the ball, assist after assist, had fun, and it goes on and on.
Listen to the players Glen. They are telling you what to do.

Thibs said after the game "this can't go on". No bleep!

Why do the Wolves refuse to defend the 3 pt shot? Could it be the Thibs defensive scheme?
Why did Popovich game plan a massive 3 pt barrage at us?
Why do we look great one night and the opposite the next?
Is it possible the players hate the game plan some nights and play accordingly?
Just wondering.

Covington gave up 5/8 shots (2/4 3's). Okogie 5/8 (4/6 on 3's). Wiggins 6/13 (0/2 on 3's). If only Wiggins' shot weren't completely broken...
Dario gave up 6/6 shots btw (including 4 3's).

The Spurs have won their last 7 of 8...all 7 wins have been by 13+ and the game they lost they were up 20 and choked it. They're hot right now and they got out of the funk they were in when we trashed them just after Thanksgiving. Most of the NBA is in this jeckyl/hyde mode - there are very few teams that are consistently winning night after night.

We are 0-10 this year when we fail to make a third of our 3's and the opponent makes more than a third. 0-5 before Butler was dealt, 0-5 since. www.basketball-reference.com/play-index/tiny.fcgi?id=sMMNfIf you want to figure out how to win in the NBA, make your 3's and defend the 3. We suck at both. As a comparison, there have been 229 games like that this year...an average of roughly 7.5 per team (teams are 42-187 overall). We're having these games more than the league average and can't win them.

I find it very interesting that the longer our defensive savior is here the worse our defense is getting. Why would that be...unless what he's being told to do is the wrong thing. Why are we so bad at giving up 3's? Whats our scheme that is allowing this to happen? Pop was right to plan to throw up a ton of 3's and as someone else pointed out thats what ever team is going to do now. We have to figure out how to defend it.
Now Teague AND Rose are out. Who would have thought that would happen? Oh yeah...pretty much everyone who doesnt have Rose colored glasses on.

It explains just about everything. To put it in perspective, the Wolves have given up 377 3 pt attempts in the last 10 games and teams have made 150 of them...a near 40% clip. We're 3-7 in that stretch....shocker.
