These are the 990th annual Country Club NBA Awards Picks if I were the only voter
MVP:
1) Giannis
2) Jokic
3) Harden
4) Kawhi
5) Anthony Davis.
Giannis has been something special this year....and so are the Bucks. Fun team to watch.
ROY:
1) Doncic
2) Jaren Jackson
3) Ayton
Jaren Jackson's numbers are arguably better than Ayton in terms of overall impact. Ayton is going to be a good player but Jackson, I think, has been better. Doncic will win the award.
DPOY:
1) Westbrook
2) Giannis
3) Paul George
Westbrook's defensive numbers have been sick this year and warrant consideration. Gobert would be 4th.
6MOY:
1) Sabonis
2) Harrell
3) Bam
Domantas has been wonderful this year to watch and I think he's a big part of why the Pacers can win 50+ this year. He's developing into a great player.
MIP:
1) Fox
2) Sabonis
3) Siakam
Fox is having a great year this year. There are plenty of candidates for this award this year (Vucevic is another as is Nurkic). This might be one of the ones where any of 7 or 8 guys can legit win...but Fox is probably the one with the inside track.
Coach:
1) Budenholzer
2) Malone
3) Nate McMillan
You can make a case for Atkinson or Doc as well in the "runner up pool" but I think Bud will probably run away with it.
All-NBA 1st Half:
1st: Giannis, James, Davis, Harden, Kyrie
2nd: Kawhi, Durant, Jokic, Curry, Lillard
3rd: George, Griffin, KAT, Walker, Simmons (I put KAT over Gobert simply on the basis of the last 15 games, Gobert was much better the first 25ish).
