Hammon (no "d' at the end) is my #1 choice for coach.
I'd take Hinkie as GM in a heartbeat.
Other GM candidates:
Mike Zarren, BOS (Considered the biggest rising star among future GMs) Kirk Lacob, GSW (Dad owns the team, but the GM spot is pretty locked up. Involved in the drafting of Klay and Dray, helped them get Durant) Troy Weaver, OKC (Considered one of the best talent evaluators in the league) Brian Wright, SAS (May still be too green) Trajan Langdon, NETS (Really well respected as a scout for the Spurs, was Marks first hire in Brooklyn. Has been a big part of turning around a franchise barren of assets),

Hinkie or Griffin are my GM choices. I think the process stuff would be irrelevant here and Hinkie would be the first GM in our history that could put us in a position of strength when it comes to trade ideas and building a franchise. Griff seems to be a respected guy in the league who has dealt with some chaotic ownership and would bring some stability to the role.
Blatt and Hammond are great options. I bring him up all the time but Eric Musselman is a favorite because of his style of play and what I think KAT and Wiggins need from a coach to maximize their talent and potential.

Zarren has been connected to better gigs than ours but he LOVES the Celtics. They all deserve calls but Weaver or Langdon are the best fits that I see along with Hinkie and Griff.

Langdon would be the ballsy move, although probably less-so than Elton Brand in Philly. And I love that he doesn't have the stink of failure about him (at least not yet).

Dude is super bright, played under Coach K and Ettore Messina, was a scout for the Spurs and is Marks right-hand man in Brooklyn.

Hinkie would be very good IMO. He might agree with me on Wiggins and look to deal him.

Danny Ferry or David Griffin. I think getting Ferry would yield a Hammon type hire. Griffin probably gets you Blatt. I'm not opposed to Ferry. A lot of the noise that went down re: his departure was grey area and there was a lot of infighting in the ATL ownership group. Ferry probably would warrant a candid interview process with the players involved to make sure they were on board. If they weren't, I'd probably go with Griffin. Here's the story on the Ferry exit in ATL and the whole ownership saga: www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/13457071/nba-how-atlanta-hawks-regime-fell-apart

You can't expect a fanbase to do the due diligence needed. I could live with Griffin, but he'd be much lower on my rankings. I'm not convinced he's good. He really benefitted from LeBron wanting to go home more than anything.

Would like to see what he can do in this org. I think the GM move is the only one Taylor needs to make and then let that person find a suitable coach.

Given where Deng was prior, I wouldn't be surprised if Thibs or Paxson wrote that assessment. Or heck, even Griffin... I like Hinkie but he has next-to-no persona. We probably need someone who is a bit more media-friendly. Hinkie would make a great sidekick to an ex player "acting" as POBO.
