I'll post this here and at the "old" home:
Thank you for your support of MNSF for the past 20 years (going back to Timberwolves Central and when both Eric and I had our own Wolves fan sites in the mid 1990's). We've been at this for a long time...arguably an eternity in the internet world. We're also suckers for punishment in supporting a franchise that, well, trips over itself pretty frequently. For that, thank you for supporting this team!
We made the decision to pull the plug about a month ago and tire kicked some options about where to go. I thought about reddit as a fallback and threw a page up quickly as a starting point since I use reddit a fair bit but frankly have little to no interest in "running" anything actively anymore and I did not get too carried away with a stylesheet or any fancy template. I've got a lot going on with work and life and frankly don't have the desire to referee internet fights all that often anymore even though I got into more than my share of them over the years. :-)
I'm happy with whatever the core decides to end up doing. If it's here, I'm happy to be a part of it and offer an occasional hot take. Just not as a moderator/admin.

Thank you TCC for the original. It's been my home for several years now.
Send me a PM if you think of anything I might change/add on this forum. I know it's slow right now because football season is starting and I'm hoping to pull in the Vikings, Twins and Wild fans but if not it's still someplace to enjoy the wolves.

All your efforts were very much appreciated all this time. Thank you for the hard work, the passion and the memories. Some of the Brewdawg spats of the yesteryear were epic!
See you around here every now and then!

Thanks for the hard work of those on the previous board. It was a great home for me after the strib boards. I’m sure it was a lot more work than reward, but it was a valuable community.
Also thanks to BC for setting this up. Hopefully it does not become burdensome. It looks to me to be a great new home, I’m sure it will gain steam as the nfl, nba and nhl seasons get rolling.

So far this site is great. Easy to read and navigate, and I love that the "NEW" button immediately takes you to the newest post (something that doesn't always work on some forums).

I agree. Thanks Bone Crusher for setting this up. This is the new home for me. Its actually easier to read than the old site. What I really like is now I can be an original member. hahaha.....
And it'll be up to us to promote it a bit. I'm sure Canis would just laugh at us for this site (with no politics and swearing) but there may be others there that are sick of THAT culture and are looking for something like this.
Thx all!

I do wish it somehow took you to new posts in a thread better....but overall I really like it.

I've been a lurker on the old board for years. Maybe moving to a new home can be an impetus to start posting. Glad to see that at least some people are coming over and the community isn't going to die. I've enjoyed this sporty diversion, thanks to all who ran the former and are running this one!

Thank you for the effort. This community is definitely worth the sweat but still a great gesture.

I like this site a lot. My only complaint is that you can't cut and paste pics on here, but otherwise it's really pretty slick and I especially like the "participated" button that allows you to view threads you've already posted in. Good job setting this up!

Like the site.
One suggestion would be to add a page button at the bottom of each page so one could click to the next page (or a page number) without having to scroll to the top.

Good job setting this up! You can. In the upper right is a add attachment option. It took me a while to find it but it works pretty slick.

Cut/Paste would be great but I haven't found anything similar I can add.
