Well, the team has been active making trades. It appears the focus was on improving the bull-pen. I like the players they have brought in. The SP they brought in is average and cannot replace Gray in any manner. They are banking on young players improving. I am fine with Polanco and Gordon being traded away. Polanco could not play 3rd base very well and that pretty much is where he would have to play with Correa and Julien as everyday players. Throw in Lewis also taking huge strides last season, Polanco would be relegated to a utility player. Wish we got more for Polanco in return. It all depends on the minor league players contributing. Santana was also a good move for the team.
It was frustrating at the beginning of the off-season knowing they were going to cut salary. But, it seems like they made the most of things with trades.
