From Rudy's Instagram channel I'd guess he plays tonight. He posted his "Gameday" messages today. He didn't post those before the 2 Utah games. The last time he did was the Clippers game when he played. Going back further, no post before the Lakers game (he missed), but there was one before Cleveland.
So, by the scientific method of social media snooping I think he plays!

I'm glad to see Ant listed only with finger dislocation/sprain. With dislocations, there can sometimes be small fractures that are revealed on Xray. He didn't have time for Xrays during the game so I still worried that he might have a fracture that they'd find after the adrenaline wore off and he got imaging. I'd think they would have listed that by now.
Head injury for Naz? Not sure what that is as they didn't call it a concussion. Hopefully he's in. We need him.

What a comeback by the guys! Down by 15 now up by 3 in the 4th. Minus 3 of our 4 best players too. What heart.

That was an incredible game. I told my son if they won he would get 30 more minutes on his tablet knowing it was very unlikely, but the team put in a superhuman effort though.
I would love to see what Garza can do when he has Gobert to anchor the defense.
I think we put teams on notice last night we are not going away and to be afraid.

I thought Garza played a really good game. He missed a few shots that he would usually make. People have said he's slow and can't defend. That certainly wasn't the case last night. He can defend.

I'd like to see them convert his contract. He probably wouldn't play in the playoffs, but you never know if he'd be needed. Reward the man for working so hard to improve his game.

I'm proud of how we played last night. We really showed some heart on the second night of a back to back against the champs. We came back and really made it tough.
I loved how we played Jokic too. Made him a scorer which I think is the way to beat Denver. He didn't have an assist until the fourth quarter. I love it.
On to the next one. Need to get some guys back healthy.

Garza certainly battled. We needed it for sure...just wish he could have hit better from 3 and made that bunny that he missed in the 4th. As tough a matchup as Jokic is in general, he's one of the few NBA centers who Luka has an edge on athletically. Almost every other center in the league has Luka completely outclassed in that regard. Basing evaluations of Luka's D on a matchup with Jokic is going to seriously overrate Garza. Most bigs just cook him.

I would love to see what Garza can do when he has Gobert to anchor the defense. So we'd have Luka as the 4? The specific matchup would be crucial. Vs. Denver that might actually work as Luka could pester Jokic and Gobert could lurk off of Gordon. Not sure what other team we could do that against though. You need a traditional big for Luka to guard and another non-shooter for Rudy to guard where he can help off him. The other problem is that having them both out there puts Luka in the KAT role offensively where he'll be guarded by 4s. The spacing is tough in the paint so Luka has to stay more outside where he won't have the space while guarded by 4s (as opposed to 5s where he can pop for 3s).

Jaden was great last night. Hopefully it's a confidence game for him to get him going.

I love how their defense is taking it to another level. They were swarming on Jokic in 2nd half but still managing to get back to cover. With KAT out they can lean into defense more. Only problem is that other guys need to come through on offense since teams will double Ant all day. Good to see Jaden being a benefiary of that strategy.

While Luka did relatively well last night, last night showed me why Luka really is a "3rd big off the bench" guy at best right now. There was a point where we missed a shot and Jokic got the ball. He dribbled up the court, relatively fast but he wasnt running. And Luka was right beside him the whole way....running as hard and as fast as he could. Jokic was at about 70% speed if even that. Luka will need to somehow improve his speed if he wants a larger NBA role.

He would be the 4 because he will not hesitate to take the corner 3. KAT is still unwilling so let's see what spreading the floor does. And yes he's a defensive liability but we need to match/pair up players for defense/offense. Gobert / defense Garza / Offense Jaden / defense Ant Conley

Speaking of off hands, has anyone noticed that Conley shoots the end of quarter half/full court shots with his right? Conley is actually right-handed (and maybe Rudy would be a better shooter if he used his left...): Mike Conley of the Utah Jazz is one of the most recognizable lefties in the NBA today. His jump shot is one of the best-looking in the league, but he shoots floaters with his right. The reason? Conley is naturally right-handed.In an appearance on JJ Redick's Old Man and The Three podcast, Conley revealed that he developed his left-hand prowess at a young age. However, he noted that if he takes a long hiatus from basketball, his instinct would be to shoot right-handed on his return.“I developed a left hand as a youngster and stuck with it. But if I took a five-year break from the game and you asked me to shoot a 3-pointer from the top of the key, I’m shooting it right-handed,” Conley said.Expand TweetIt's worth mentioning that the Utah Jazz are the only NBA team to have two mixed-handed players. Mike Conley is a righty who shoots with his left, while Rudy Gobert is a natural lefty who uses his right hand to shoot.www.sportskeeda.com/basketball/3-current-nba-players-righties-shoot-left-handed

What you’re not counting Ant? I guess side of backboards don’t count.

I was living in Indianapolis when he was in high school and I read stories saying him and Greg Oden were buddies since elementary school and would play 1-on-1 in the driveway all the time. I assumed this was why he developed finishing ability with both hands. Oden was always a head taller, so Conley had to get crafty.

Conley is actually right-handed (and maybe Rudy would be a better shooter if he used his left...): I've seen Rudy shoot a left handed shot over the backboard from about 7 feet. I know what you're getting at, but I don't think it matters which hand Rudy shoots with.
