Do or die.
Kat needs to shoot the 3 (which I believe the coaches have told him over and over to do but he still drives into multiple defenders).
End the (I have a potty mouth)ing turnovers. I don't recall Dallas being the steal machine but "we" are making them look good.
Force these officials to start calling some effing fouls when they clutch and grab. Throw up your arms and act like you're playing soccer or something. So (I have a potty mouth)ing sick of a Dallas player flailing around like a crappie out of water when they try to get through a pick. And call a (I have a potty mouth)ing T when Luka throws a fit. (I have a potty mouth). Ant does some of the antics Luka does and he's out of the game in the 2nd quarter and for Christs sake I wish these officials would stop the Dallas ball licking. 3 players nearly foul out of a play off game which is nearly unheard of especially when it's 2 of the biggest players for one team. That is just downright bs. I've never seen a team get so many favorable calls it's infuriating.
NAW, Jaden, Naz need to bring it this game.
Rant done til game time. :)

Favorable ref draw for this one, Marc doesn't call the ticky-tack stuff so hopefully Jaden/Ant/Mike can stay out of foul trouble. KAT's charges are kind of immune to what ref we draw, they're all going to call them lol

So far we've had the following calls go against us in the last few minutes of close games: Towns "in the cylinder" call Jaden getting raked across the arm, losing the ball out of bounds and losing the possession. Ant phantom foul on Luka 3 pointer
I feel like I'm forgetting one...
Lets hope that if this is really just "bad luck", law of averages says that some calls at the end should start to go our way. KATs charges are just bad and dumb. Every ref is going to call those. Note I didnt put Luka jumping into Towns for his 6th foul down because, while Luka initiated the contact, I've seen that call go both ways. More often for the offensive player.

We keep driving into 3 guys. It usually ends badly. Why do we keep doing it?
Drive and kick or just try a 3?
Luka has 20 on 8 of 10 from the field and 4 of 5 from 3. 3 of the 3's were from 30 feet.

They’re much better than us.
They’re better constructed overall, much better coached and their superstars are just better than ours.
I love Ant - and he’s still just scratching the surface. But he has to work so much harder to get his than either Luka or Kyrie.

This game has felt over for some time.
Dallas is just a fantastic team. Major props to them for how they reconstructed their team at the deadline. Gafford and Washington were the most underrated pickups. Both have absolutely killed us.

But he hangs onto draft picks like Gollum and his Precious.

This is unwatchable and our coaching staff should be ashamed.

It's over! How the Wolves could do this to their fans is beyond me. What a way to ruin a great season. People will remember this.
Trying to make Rudy an offensive star is on the coaches. it's always a bad idea.
Our bench has scored 2 pts total!!!! Out side of the one game Reid lit it up our bench has stunk.
We don't resemble the team we saw all year long. I give Jason Kidd credit for that.

How we turn the ball over so much just absolutely baffles me. There's been zero improvement.

Hell with that. I'm not there. I would have been at game 7. One of my other partners had it tonight. Who all they've seen is losses.

This is a team who was just happy to not get swept.
This team has some definite issues in that the only series they did shit in were series where they were underdogs. They cant handle success.
It will be interesting to see what changes Connelly makes. If he's still here. (My biggest concern).

What about our bench? Total failure this series except for the one Reid game.

What about our bench? Total failure this series except for the one Reid game. Hmmm. I dont think so. We're in this position becuase for 3 games Towns and Ant didnt show up. THis series is a total team failure from top to bottom. Where was the ball movement on offense? Where was the defense? I dont know why at 5 minutes we havent pulled our starters. They dont deserve to be on the floor.

He got a little taste of success, but I'm sure he wants more (he left the court pretty quickly - not sure if he shook hands with anyone or not). Jaden grew throughout the playoffs. Dallas was on the WFC 2 years ago. Minny wasn't going from play-in to champions - they're not the Lakers. Overall, this was a great season. They should could use an athletic big to spell gobert and change it up a bit.

Anyone would have taken this playoff run a couple months ago. In truth they never sustained the mental edge they had in the first 2 series. Plus it was never a championship level offense this year. Finch and Connelly need to make that their top priority.

What a humiliating loss. Wolves played to not lose instead of playing to win. I turned it off in the 1st it was so bad. Switched back over to watch (I have a potty mouth)ing Kyle Anderson take 2 open 3's to clang them. How difficult is it to run plays to get KAT open? I do suppose if he did get open he would drive into 3 (I have a potty mouth)ing players and either turn the ball over or lose it out of bounds. This loss was on the coaching staff. Just very disappointed. They got their ass handed to them on their own home court.

It wouldnt have made much difference I dont think last night. No one could hit a shot and KyLuka couldnt miss. We need another playmaker though on the team. If I were to take anything from this series, its that I dont need to see Ant dribble for 75% of the shot clock anymore.

What leaves me dumbfounded is the coaches and players not being able to counter the double team on ANT, but then again having Rudy on the floor = non-threat for defenses.

What leaves me dumbfounded is the coaches and players not being able to counter the double team on ANT, but then again having Rudy on the floor = non-threat for defenses. Comparing it to Luka: - Luka is huge, so he can both stay in control of his dribble and bait the double further away and then make a hard (fast) pass over the top of the double team so the defense has to travel a long distance and it gives the secondary ballhandler time and space to make plays or shoot. Ant usually ends up throwing fadeaway lobs to a teammate so the defense can make their rotation by the time the pass gets to the secondary ballhandler - Dallas has shooters perfectly spaced around the perimeter. Gobert isn't worse of a playmaker than Gafford is, but they make it so simple for him with their spacing. Gafford either dunks it or makes one simple pass to the wing or corner to a shooter. Never more than one dribble, and never more than 1 read, while being completely uncovered. We have non-shooters out there or have not spaced out enough that Gobert always ended up with someone tightly guarding him so he has to make a quick read, and we don't have consistency in spacing. Is Jaden going to stay in the corner or slash? Is Naz going to float a little higher up the floor or stay by the wing? Did they decide to set a screen for each other like Kyle did for KAT? Or is Kyle in the corner and it seems like that's the right read but really will just lead to nothing? - Kyrie is a baller and can create his own shot against doubles himself, and will really cook anyone 1 on 1. Say we do make the timely rotation and get out to cover everyone. Well Kyrie now has a 1 on 1 against a scrambling defense with Gobert pulled out from the rim to double Luka on the PNR. He easily gets into the lane and either makes a crafty layup, or now it really is just pick the shooter that's wide open. We have KAT over there who takes 15-20 minutes to get into the lane if he even does, and is totally out of control at that point. It could be a KAT layup, or just as likely to be a charge or him falling over on a drive. It would very rarely be a stop and find the open shooter situation. Ultimately, it's just a combination of personnel issues (Kyrie is better than KAT, Luka is bigger than Ant) and coaching problems. Luka/Kidd are eager to find a solution and relentlessly attack it, while Finch/Ant is flow-based and no two possessions look the same. That can be a positive for us, as we should have a higher floor with more options for success if teams take away something, but it also limits our ceiling as we don't really have a reliable thing that everyone knows that we can go to.

Jon K:
Edwards was surrounded by a tight-knit team, one with such strong chemistry that it decided as a group that no player would appear on TNT’s “Inside the NBA” postgame show after their victory in Game 4 in Dallas, team sources told The Athletic. The decision was a sign of support for Gobert and Towns, who were the subject of derisive and seemingly personal criticism from panelist and Golden State forward Draymond Green.
