Toronto on a back to back and badly outgunned. Wolves should take care of business for sure.

I'm liking this Randle guy so far. He fits in well with the team.

It was disappointing to see them lose a 20 point lead but overall a good game. I would have liked for them to have kept that lead against such a badly outmanned team so the young guys could see some floor time. They need to play better down the stretch if they are going to beat anyone in the next week.

When Randle is locked in, he's incredible. But when the focus starts to dip, he gets rocked off ball defensively and that's when the problems started to hit. The 4th quarter lapses were tough to watch as a whole, but you'd hope a vet like Randle could be better than that. Other than that, he was fantastic.
Loved the offensive bursts from Jaden. He seems to have more control getting to the hoop and he does have decent touch around the rim. Was pleasantly surprised with him.
Can we just TRY playing Minott over Ingles at this point? Good grief, Minott would at least make getting 3 fouls in his first stint look fun.

Can we just TRY playing Minott over Ingles at this point? Good grief, Minott would at least make getting 3 fouls in his first stint look fun. Ingles did have 4 assists in 6 minutes at least tonight. I wish there were opportunities right now for Minott (they'll surely come), but I do get why Finch is playing Ingles over him right now. It's clear this team is still finding their way and a guy like Ingles can help in that. Case in point was his passing tonight. I don't really like how it is, but after seeing where we're at, I get it. The Wolves are deep in a way that doesn't lend itself to a big rotation IMO. The top 8 guys all warrant 25+ minutes. NAW is our 8th guy and he would start for several teams. It's hard to play an unproven player like Minott over guys we know to be playoff level rotation players. It's not like we're playing a Pat Connaughton 20 minutes. Other than the 6 minutes that Ingles plays, who are we sitting to get Minott in the game? If the team was humming, I'd understand more of working in a Minott, but we're clearing still searching for synergy. I'm not worried as it's still early. If the teams stays stuck in a lower gear and there are no changes or improvement, then I'll change my tune, but for now I think we stay the course. Eventually an injury (hopefully minor) will open up some minutes and we'll see what happens.

They need to play better down the stretch if they are going to beat anyone in the next week. We should have won that game by 35 points. We squandered lead after lead with careless plays, selfish basketball and a lack of effort. I wanted to turn the game off in the 2nd quarter. Certainly the 3rd but I couldn't. Way too many stupid turn overs. It was hard to watch. Finch is trying to get the guys to play together which is a work in progress. So much for the pre-season. It wouldn't appear much was accomplished then. We have a long way to go.
My only positive is NAW has played pretty well and I like what I see out of Ragu and Randle.

He said he's just trying to get the guys to play together with is a work in progress. After that he'll expand the bench.
