Great game very much like a playoff battle. This Vegas team is outstanding and the Wild outplayed them tonight. I still can't get over the quality of play from the Wild.

Now it's time for the Vikings and Wolves.

Twins get an asterisk from me until they prove they want to do more than just make it to the Playoffs. I love a lot of what they've done, but there is still a very strong feeling that ownership will be happy as long as they keep the fans placated and the dollars rolling in. Haven't won a single Playoff game since 2004. 0-18 Outscored 30-9 in the 5 games under the new regime. |

Minor leagues too.
If you are referring to the last 5 playoff games, I wouldn't bet that continues. The brand of ball they play is more exciting than the 87 Twins. I watch more baseball than I have for years. The new regime has only been in place a few years. I couldn't be happier with them.
Talk about analytics and talent evaluation, they are right up your alley David. I really believe in these guys.
Similar to the Wolves I have a friend who is in a very high position for years with the team and he tells me it's a whole new world, for the better there.

I know all about the front office. A friend of mine is married to the EVP/CFO.
But there are still artificial constraints put on Falvey/Levine by ownership.
And I need them to prove to me that they can do it. They need to produce more than the Gardenhire teams did. The potential is absolutely there, but the results aren’t - to this point.

So the Pohlad's are putting the thumbs on them financially keeping them from perhaps getting the key piece they need?
