What a game! We were outplayed in period one by a wide margin but we kept hanging in there. We just got better as the game went on and won it in OT. Amazing.
I've never seen a MN hockey team like this one. They get key goals from all 4 lines.
Zach Parise was again a healthy scratch. He can't be happy.

Zach isn't upset about it (imho). He was actually planning on retiring at the beginning of the season. Not sure why he didn't. Both the team and Zach are in good places. Zach was hurt much more (lower back) than many of us realize. Hopefully we can do really well in the play-offs.

Series tied at 1-1. Game tonight but at 8:30 NBCSN. We've beaten Vegas in Minnesota all games we played this season if I recall but it is the playoffs.

Up 2-0 early. Amazing. I hope we don't get complacent. The Kaprisov pass on the 1st goal was fabulous. He just waited a split second to thread the needle.

The fix is in for the big money put on Vegas. That disallowed goal was the worst I've ever seen. Foligno in front of the crease. Total BS.

Plus they are totally playing the Vegas schedule. When the games are in Minnesota it should be their time. Maybe a minor thing but to pro's it's a big deal.

Las Vegas is without a doubt a better hockey team than the Wild. Better leadership. Better attitude. Better talent.
Wild have come a long way, but they still have a ways to go.

Las Vegas is without a doubt a better hockey team than the Wild. Better leadership. Better attitude. Better talent. Wild have come a long way, but they still have a ways to go. Unfortunately....I couldn't more. Our collapse was difficult to see right away but Dean Evason is getting schooled by their coach. Poor line changes and combinations. We only win 35% of the face-offs. We need a top shelf Center and size to our defense. Our defense is being outplayed. Suter and Dumba aren't up to it. Suter is showing his age. Let the Kraken have Dumba....please.
It's one thing to lose but to lose the way we have is overshadowing much of the great play we saw this year.
Dean is changing up some lines. Better late than never. We just might win one tonight. It wouldn't surprise me. That's sports for ya.

Great game by the Wild. Their youthfulness helped greatly in the game.
One game left in the series. Will our youth help us? Friday we will find out.

Win or lose, let's hope the Wild play a strong game.
Dean has made changes which has been a life saver.
Anything can happen. Let's go Wild!

Well, it's over as we lose 6-2. It's hard to understand how we can be so consistently bad in 2nd periods.
The future looks bright. We'll add Rossi, and Boldy for starters and we have a ton of huge talent coming up. They have drafted supremely well recently. The picks they received in the Zucker, Donato, Granlund deals look great. Fiala for Granlund alone looks really good.
I expect Guerin to make plenty of moves this off season. After Rossi they need one more big time center. He might make a deal for the top center Eichel. Parise played well when given the chance but I still think they move him. I'd also move Dumba, Cole, Bonino, Johansson.
This was my most fun year of Wild hockey ever. Yep, even over 2003.

LV out muscled us and out thugged us. I don't think they get past the Avalanche. Now they have to figure out how to keep Kirill.
