Best record in the league and instead they televise Clips vs. Jazz. Anyone know of a broadcast?

If you have a smart tv check Fubo, and or Amazon Prime. Best of luck if it's not on Bally.

Not a great sign Ant checked himself out.

Ant took himself out of the game due to his hip pointer. Doubtful to return.
I wish he would just stay out and heal.

It frightens me given how much torque he puts on his body with those euro’s.
And Kyle’s corner three’s should be preserved for history.

Great 3rd qtr by the Wolves so far. Lot of game left. Bench playing well except for KA. Shake has 10 pts tonight. maybe he'll get going.

54 pts by the bench!! Huge. Rudy monster night again. 16 pts 20 rebs and 6 blks. Towns had an off night with 24-7 and 5. Time to trade the bum.
We are 17 and 4 this year. Isn't that something? 7 and 3 on the road.
Oh Yea, TB Jr. with 20-4-4. What a great signing he has turned out to be.

Nobody on this board that says we need to trade KAT says he's playing bad or is a problem in any sort of way. I'll state it for the 1000th time, something has to give financially and it's most likely going to be KAT. You're turning into Darko with this narrative that you won't let go of.

If you want to win it all you keep your best players.
I'll drop my attitude when I stop hearing idiotic trade Kat ideas because we're short of money.

I’m with Nick on this one. #paythetax Here are my top five reasons: 1. I’m a fan, not an owner. It’s not my money, why do I care? 2. I’m also not managing the budget, so why do I care? 3. This team has won two playoff series since 1989 4. Those two playoff series wins happened the same year 5. The Warriors pay $170M in tax for years and have rings…

The Warriors paid $170M in tax for years and they have rings… We're getting way too far ahead of ourselves here. The W's had won it all before greenlighting massive tax payments. We've won nothing. As fun as this is currently, we still have nothing in terms of actual success. Our success isn't conventional and it might not work in the playoffs. If we get bounced in the 1st round do we really expect the team to pay huge tax bills and suffer 2nd apron roster building ramifications?

Awesome 2nd half last night. Resilient team as they completely put their foot down in the 2nd half after taking a hit in the first when Ant went down.
Shake seeing a few shots go in might help the confidence?
I've been a Troy Brown guy from his signing. Seeing him come on has been really nice. He's hitting 3s which is great. He's a better defender and rebounder than Prince at baseline and as the shooting becomes more real, he's clearly a rotation piece.
Rudy is team MVP. DPOY favorite right now. Just great, great play right now. Excited to see him battle some of these better players/teams in the next month.

What is the final salary/ luxury cap level for next year, and will Ant make all-NBA. We won’t know either of those till the seasons over.

I was in the trade KAT camp because he didn’t play Defense and seems to disappear in the playoffs. If that changes I’d keep him.
We never put good players around KG except the last couple years with Cassell and Sprewell.
Ant will leave if we don’t put good players around him and we don’t win. Right now he has both so do not change anything.

Kyle needs to get out of his funk and last night was a perfect night to try doing it. He was pretty good on those last year. I think last year was a "bit" of an outlier in that he usually wasnt as good of a 3 point shooter...but he never has been what he is this year. He'll get out of it but he wont get out of it if he continues to pass the ball. I'd rather have him work on getting out of it in a big win vs a close game. If Ant got hurt that quickly he wasnt ready to come back.

Once again....Towns shot 2 for 4 on 3 pointers. 50% clip. He took 4 threes. Obviously they won so it all worked out..but in general...are you good with this every night Nick? Im not. And its the usual line with him these days. At this point I put this on Finch as they need to be running some action to get him more 3's or Finch needs to be saying "you need to take more 3's...period". I'm not saying "trade the bum" (right now) but its like he has a super power that he refuses to use to help the team. I'm just asking for a better mix of drives vs 3's.

If it truly was all about just the owners writing a check I'd say screw them, its not my money, write the check, keep writing the checks, and lets win. But its not and by now people really should know that and make it part of the conversation and stop pretending all you have to do is write a check. Its a different game with different penalties now. And Nick gets to have his opinion. He'd rather keep Kat and let Conley and Anderson walk. Or keep Kat, trade Naz and let one of them walk. Thats his choice. I respect it even if i dont agree with it. (Although Anderson is NOT the same player and he's playing himself out of the "must keep" conversation). BTW...I agree with the Rudy for MVP conversation. Not just Defensive player of the year. He's playing at an MVP type level right now.

Not too long ago he was talked about in the same breath with Conley, two players who would probably command too much $ next year and oh what would we do without our "smart, always reliable for the right decision" vets. I've been shocked at not only his ability to miss bunny shots, but also the turnovers. Bad passes, fumbles, and even some bad decisions. I have shifted my opinion and there is less and less seller's remorse every game. I'm almost glad I couldn't find a broadcast to watch his 2 for 11 game.(well, not really)

As someone who was squawking left and right about trading KAT before the start of the year..
I was wrong. I'm eating crow, we're as solid as we've ever been in history, and anyone making any notion of breaking this team up, even in the face of the luxury tax, should take a sec to reconsider. 1/4 of the way into the season is usually when a team's identity really comes into form, so no, don't trade KAT even in the off season (assuming there isn't some other bizarre external factor that is)

If we get bounced in the 1st round do we really expect the team to pay huge tax bills and suffer 2nd apron roster building ramifications? I’m glad you brought that up because according to Hoops Hype the Wolves are currently UNDER the tax threshold for the 23/24 season - with a 35% probability of getting to the Finals a quarter of the way through the season. Of course the conversation changes if there is another first round exit… but talk about “getting ahead of ourselves.” Talking about needing to trade KAT due to a potential first round exit at this point in the season while they are playing the way they are playing is quintessential wolves fan talk… I get that we all have suffered a great deal through the years, but I’ve made the personal decision to break that cycle of self abuse. 🙃 #paythetax

I wonder how much luck played into SloMo’s shooting 41% because he's a small sample 3pt shooter?
2021-22: 36/109, 33% 2022-23: 43/105, 41%
At that small of an amount, every make or miss is a full % + or -.
And he’s never been a good 3pt shooter and his shoulder injury made his shot worse.

He’s a great veteran glue guy but at some point you’ve got to create playing time for Miller and maybe Minott.

If the team is a true contender the next three seasons and they let it ride money wise, which 2nd apron penalties are you specifically worried about hampering the team after 2025? - The Wolves have historically NOT been a sign and trade destination - The Wolves should NOT trade picks another 7 years out anyway - The Wolves have no exceptions to use in a trade, plus that rarely happens - The Wolves would NOT have to be in the 2nd apron more than 2 years - The Wolves would NOT need to aggregate salaries to pay a player more The only penalty that I think would hurt is the inability to use the taxpayer mid-level exception. And I’m totally good with that trade off if the team is a true contender… Is that really what all the hand-wringing is about when we’re talking about a possible three year championship window? Serious question.

The team has Conley’s bird rights, he’s made a ton of money in his career, and where else does he have a better chance to win? The team’s only real need is a starting caliber, true point guard before Conley breaks down completely - which should be a number one priority this season/offseason.
So then, if we’re really just talking about a decision between prime KAT and the ability to re-sign Slo-Mo to a new contract this offseason, I’m thanking Slo -mo for his service and choosing prime KAT 10 times out of 10.
