Pels getting Ingram back just in time for our game. Start of a tough schedule. At least we know this team plays up to its competition.

Finally a great 3 qtr. Ant, Dlo and Rudy all have been good tonight. Especially Rudy. It's about time.

I would start Willie Green on this team right now.

Gobert sprint dribble fast breaks approaching the Brewer/Vando levels as most exciting play in b-ball.

Not loving this last few trips down on O. Is Finch still calling plays for Ant right now?
This would be a good time to do it.

How about that block by Rudy with about a minute left. What an effort.
Tonight I saw the Rudy I envisioned when the trade was made.
Really nice win. I had my doubts at halftime.

And they did it without their second third best players Taurean Prince and J-Mac.

Have beat/can beat:
Nuggies, Cavs, Griz, and Pels.
If Zion plays Gobert fouls out and Wolves can’t stop him.
OTOH if Towns plays, Towns fouls out, and Wolves can’t stop him.

The difference in purpose tonight on offense versus that last Houston game is uncanny.
I don’t use the label “America’s Team” loosely, but we might be looking at the next team USA.

Rudy played with a pulse tonight and competitive edge that we need.. If dude plays this hard then we might have a chance to win a couple playoff series.. If not we might not even make the playoffs

I like the positivity, but what are you smoking? I am telling you, and America if this team if relatively healthy to the west they are really good. NBA officials need to prepare for the storm. Ant, McD, Slo, Kat, Gob is so unfair to the rest of the teams. As is the Nowell, Ant, McD, Towns, Gob unit. If I am the commish I get very serious about canceling sports. I mean if this is what they look like with TPLL, wow. Cannot imagine the heights we’re about to see.

Griz game on right now is a good reminder of the perils of not adding a little toughness, physicality to our perimeter d heading towards the post-season.

Griz game on right now is a good reminder of the perils of not adding a little toughness, physicality to our perimeter d heading towards the post-season. Yes. This is what we need. Dane made the point with Britt on his pod that if you're gonna be a big team, be a team that beats the crap out of other teams. Lean into being big and tough. Right now we're big and sheepish and that starts at the guard position. That's part of the reason I think FVV would be a great fit for this team. He's a solid POA defender and is smart off-ball if we decide to put Ant or Jaden on the lead ball handler. Plus, his shooting numbers are mayyyybe starting to pick back up after a huge slump. If we can't get FVV, I think Quickley fits that bill too as we've mentioned before. I struggle to see how we'd get him without having anyone of value at that salary slot and without first round picks.

This is why this team is so frustrating to me. We're SO close to being a home-court playoff team but we can't take care of business against the teams like Detroit, Houston, and San Antonio who we should be pounding to death. This team thinks the league will bow down to them because they're more talented than most other teams they play against. This is the type of team that will get up for the games vs NOLA and Memphis, but not for Houston. They'll put up a fight in these next few games, but because they've crapped the bed against the bottom feeders, they've left themselves no room for error if they lose any of these games. I don't know why this team can't figure out that the West is there for them to take. They just have to care enough to take it. I loved the win tonight, but it just adds to my frustration with this team. I do think there's a 50 win team in there, but they actually have to want it in order to bring that out.

I think I'd mentioned before that we wanted to be a big team and zig where everyone else has zagged (small ball). Yet...we'd done NOTHING to try to BE a big team other than just having some big players. We certainly dont/didnt play big. It can just be KAT and Rudy. It has to be more. Thats why I really like that Dire wolves lineup that we can eventually role out of Kyle, Ant, Jaden, KAT and Rudy. (BTW. for those of you who dont get the DIRE wolves comment: Dire wolves were from Game of Thrones. Very large wolves.)

Yes! Bigger teams need to be more physical and Wolves have not been. They were quick speed team last year. You don’t transform into that style overnight and it will require some roster changes. Actually KAT might help this if he can play smarter and fit into schemes.

Actually KAT might help this if he can play smarter and fit into schemes. That's why I'm not 100% sold on DLo being traded for Conley/Lowry types. I want to lean more heavily into point Ant/point Kyle Anderson and have one of those two guys bully PGs in the post. If we're going to play this way, let's send 5 to the defensive glass and give up 0 offensive rebounds in a game, even if it means 0 fast break points. Let's lean into this physical dog fight style that our roster can be shaped towards. That's why I was advocating for a Jae Crowder trade! We need more DAWGS

I have no idea what the wolves could offer them that would be of interest. Maybe include dlo and take back a longer contract? Mitchell doesn't need to score to effect winning, is an excellent POA defender. He'd be another perimeter defender. He's not the best 3 point shooter and how much is he going to play next to fox? I think he could be expendable. Maybe a third team would need to be added to entice the kings.
