Thanks for putting that up. I'm loving the looks of that group. I'm curious to see the MN kid Gabe Kalscheur play and Edwards the center too.

Lets see how Dillingham performs. Excited about this pick as much as any of the recent ones.

TSJ showing he's like Naz. Once he gets the ball he makes very quick decisions.

Daishen Nix is looking pretty good. He looks much taller than the 6'3" he's listed at. He looks 6'5" easy.
Shannon and Len Miller have stood out. Clark, not so much. Hifi is not shy. His shot mechanics need work though.

Very impressed with Dillingham as a PG. 5 AST, 0 TO so far - and it could be close to 10 assists if guys hit shots.
He's rushing his jumper, but I think that's because he's so focused on running the team. He'll figure out the balance shortly.

Hifi looks great. On defense he plays MUCH bigger than his size. He's just aggressive in every aspect of the game. 5 Assists, 3 Rebounds, 3 Steals, 0 TOs.

TSJ looks like he's been in the NBA for 3 years.

TSJ stealing the show. Looks like a rotation guy from the get go. He and RD already showing a bit of chemistry. Minott still can’t shoot but solid on D. That’s probably not enough.

Daishen Nix looks like he belongs. Jaylen Clark is a steal a minute. Man, he's a tough defender on the ball. I wonder if he can ever develop an offensive game. It doesn't look like it.

Clark looked awful. No offense whatsoever and he was lazy on a couple closeouts. I don't see an NBA player at all. He was badly outplayed by Nix and Hifi.

I give Clark a pass since it was his first real game in about a year. But he has to show something in these games. Nix is what he is- smart solid unathletic dependable guy who will probably bounce around the league for a few years. Dilly looked quick and able to run an offense. Was even pesky on defense. Didn’t try to force anything. TSJ looks so mature and in control on the court. He’s already too good for summer league.

Hopefully he just calms down on the shooting and it starts falling. He was definitely rushing. Unfortunately his D in the first half was just atrocious. He's not strong out there, but worse was guys just blowing by him almost every possession. I watched him specifically and it was BAD. He picked it up defensively in the 2nd half. Moved his feet much better. Still not good, but he made a few defensive plays and cut out the awful stuff.

I don't like the SL format for Minott either as he trys to do to much. He'd function better playing off of established players where his place in the pecking order was more understood. Unfortunately he still doesn't look like he can shoot because the role he should fill is a Jaden McDaniels role offensively. Shoot open 3s and maybe attack a closeout occasionally on a straight line drive.

Shannon is going to play this year if this is who we're getting. He was good both ways tonight. If he can hit 3s, the Wolves might have hit again on a late 1st round pick.

Some other SL games...
Reed Sheppard looked really good for Houston. Shot it well and looked pretty smooth.
Bub Carrington had a good game. I was really high on him going into the draft as a guy I'd trade up to get. I didn't think we could get to 8 though. I hope we don't regret picking the wrong PG at 8.
Daron Holmes tore his Achilles and is out for the year for Denver. Bad news for him and the team.
1 and 2 picks were average.

They spent the entire Lakers-Rockets game talking up and about Bronny.
Who may have been the worst player on the floor. He literally looked like "What would happen if you gave a camp invite the green light in a Summer League game?"
Also, how did Doris Burke go from the best in the business to unlistenable in just a 2-3 years?

There is an agenda that these announcers at that level have where they have to cater to what the NBA wants. Its been so obvious over the years. They can have thier own thoughts to a certain degree but if the Lakers are playing.....75% of the discussion must be about the Lakers. I just hate that shit. OK...I'll ask. Who the heck is HiFi?

I really was impressed from that standpoint. From the getgo though, he looked like he was forcing his shot, which may be what he is at this point. I think the NBA game may move somewhat fast for him and there will be a learning curve, especially as a playmaker, but it was encouraging that he looked like he has some decent chops as a PG. Now, about that defense... If he can't defend in the Summer League, I don't know how he's going to keep up in the NBA. That could really limit his ceiling.

Nix looked solid. I was impressed with his on ball defense and his ability to jump passing lanes a bit. I have no idea if the offense is going to be anything, but being a stocky PG like that, he could probably defend up in weight class a bit. I don't know if he'll ever have a real role for an NBA team, but he impressed in game 1 for sure. I didn't see it at all with Clark. He looked just horrible. I don't know if it's because it's his first game in like a year and a half or what but I didn't see anything that showed he could be anyone. Even on defense, which is supposed to be his calling card, he looked bad. He looked slow and honestly lazy. It looked like he knew he had a contract already for this coming year and didn't want to go too hard in his first game back. Not impressed whatsoever.
