I'm honestly shocked the Wolves straight up cut KBD. I was surprised they signed Dozier in the first place as I was expecting them to only carry 14 given the tax they'll be paying. I guess it's not my money, but hopefully whomever is the owner doesn't wind up cutting costs in the future because they lost so much this year.

Yeah if you wanted a placeholder for a future roster move, cutting Dozier would make more sense. I guess TC thinks he has some value as a veteran ball handler. But it probably says KBD has absolutely no value around the league.

I'm not sure on this...if another team signs KBD to a minimum deal, does that remove that obligation from our salary cap/tax? I had thought that with buyout guys, the amount another team pays them is subtracted from the buyout team's books. It certainly seems possible that a team could pick up a guy like KBD if they have injury issues. Maybe?

The thing people are missing on Dozier is that Connely really likes him. That's his guy.
